East of Lincoln offers a unique blend of original rock, blues and urban acoustic music mixed with a hint of jazz and bossa nova. Led by guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Rick Mayock, the current members of the band include vocalist/guitarist Diane Hubka, bassist John Zeigler, and drummer Irv Gershenz, with occasional members Arnie Roth, percussion, and Christine Schneider on 5 string violin.

Combining rock rhythms, engaging melodies, rich vocal harmonies and imaginative, thought provoking lyrics, East of Lincoln's sound echoes music from Jon Mayer and Sheryl Crowe to early folk-style Beatles, Rolling Stones, Dylan, John Sebastian, and legends of country blues.

Rick Mayock has been performing with bands, as well as a solo artist, in Los Angeles and on the East coast for over two decades. He was part of the Venice Beach music scene, and played clubs across Southern California throughout the 70's and 80's. Originally from the Wyoming Valley, Pennsylvania, he appears there locally with the West Side Blues Band with singer/songwriter Don Shappelle, and legendary blues harmonica player Charlie Singer.
